Secondary amyloidosis is an uncommon yet severe consequence resulting from chronic inflammatory diseases, such as pulmonary tuberculosis (TB). We present a tale of a patient with protracted tuberculosis who established systemic amyloid deposits, as confirmed by histopathological analysis. The patient showed signs of worsening kidney function, proteinuria, and weakness all over the body. It is very important to recognize amyloidosis in people suffering from TB as soon as possible, because a late diagnosis might cause permanent damage to organs. This report stresses how important it is to think about amyloidosis in people with chronic TB. It also stresses the necessity for early treatment and full management to avoid serious health problems that can come from this rare but deadly condition
